Client Advisor – Milan
We are looking for an exceptional Client Advisor to join our team in Milan. This is an exciting opportunity for a luxury retail professional with strong ready-to-wear experience, an established clienteling mindset, and a passion for building meaningful relationships with both local and international clientele. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, driving sales performance, and representing the unique creative vision of JW Anderson.
Salary: €30,000-€39,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role
As a Client Advisor, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, cultivating long-term client relationships, and acting as a brand ambassador. You will deliver exceptional client experiences while contributing to the daily operations and presentation of the boutique.
Responsibilities
Sales & Performance
- Consistently achieve individual and store sales objectives.
- Drive business through proactive client outreach and clienteling activities.
- Identify opportunities to maximise sales through styling, cross-selling, and category development.
- Proactively contribute to the overall commercial success of the boutique.
Client Experience & Relationship Building
- Create meaningful & memorable connections with clients through personalised service.
- Provide exceptional service throughout the client journey, from welcoming and advising to follow-up and after-sales support.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with local and international clientele.
- Maintain regular contact with clients through appointments, email, telephone, messaging, personalised notes, and exclusive client events.
- Develop and manage a strong client portfolio, ensuring CRM information is accurate, complete, and regularly updated.
- Balance time effectively between the sales floor and proactive client development initiatives.
- Take ownership of clienteling activities and proactively seek opportunities to strengthen client engagement.
Brand & Product Expertise
- Act as a passionate ambassador for JW Anderson, confidently communicating the brand's history, values, collections, and creative vision.
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge across all categories.
- Utilise storytelling and styling expertise to create inspiring and personalised recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, fashion, art, and culture.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Perform as a collaborative team player, contributing positively to all activities that support store objectives.
- Share knowledge, client insights, and best practices with colleagues.
- Support a positive and inclusive team culture.
Store Presentation & Operations
- Maintain the highest standards of store presentation in line with JW Anderson guidelines.
- Ensure products are presented, replenished, and maintained to company standards.
- Support stock management, inventory activities, and back-of-house operations.
- Contribute to maintaining an organised, secure, and efficient boutique environment.
Standards & Compliance
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain impeccable personal presentation and professionalism at all times.
- Uphold the brand’s values, standards of service, behaviour, and brand representation.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience within luxury retail, with a strong background in ready-to-wear and experience across accessories and leather goods.
- Proven success working with both local and international clientele in a high-service environment.
- Demonstrated success working with a structured CRM approach and clienteling strategy.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and develop a personal client book.
- Strong understanding of luxury client expectations and the ability to deliver highly personalised experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence and initiative to identify opportunities and develop long-term client relationships.
- Experience working within an appointment-based luxury retail environment and managing VIP client interactions.
- Passion for fashion, design, craftsmanship, art, and culture, with a genuine affinity for the JW Anderson brand.
- Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of achieving individual sales targets and contributing to team success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally inclusive, open-minded, and relationship-focused.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Positive, adaptable, collaborative and solution-oriented.
- Fluent Italian and English are essential; additional languages are highly desirable.
