Do you enjoy being responsible for the full end-to-end customer engagement model, from relationship development and account sales to ongoing delivery?
As a Client Lead, you are responsible for managing the client relationship while focusing on sales, revenue, delivery, and client satisfaction. You work closely with the head of the Client Group to create, own, execute, and maintain the Client Account Plan for Avanade, driving integration with Accenture and Microsoft. You may be assigned to a single client or work across several accounts within a sector, collaborating with sales leads to secure new business.
As an Avanade Client Account Lead (ACAL), your responsibilities include:
- Securing long-term account growth, sales, and revenue while maintaining profitability; developing deep client relationships to enable buyer access and ensure long-term customer success.
- Balancing strategic and tactical aspects of account management, demonstrating proficiency in building key relationships and professional networks across the customer base.
- Providing leadership, planning, coordination, and management of all sales and delivery activities to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Owning full operational accountability for the client, often managing a portfolio of large, complex, and strategic projects or programs.
- Utilizing our client and account teams to showcase thought leadership, product offerings, and solutions for potential engagements, while evolving client awareness of Avanade and executing the client strategy to accelerate growth.
You will be assigned to our Resources Client Vertical.
About You
- Extensive experience in the Energy & Utilities industries within a tech consulting, professional services, or system integrator environment.
- Proven experience working with VP/C-suite executives and developing business relationships.
- Knowledge in one or more core Microsoft areas: Applications & Infrastructure, Business Applications, Data & AI, Modern Workplace.
- Experience providing managed services or other annuity services.
- Strong commercial, delivery, and project management skills, including managing multi-site and global delivery programs.
- A successful track record in delivering complex, large-scale systems integration programs.
- Ability to navigate challenging sales and delivery situations effectively.
- Experience in consultative selling techniques and previous sales roles.
- Understanding of enterprise services and Microsoft technologies and solutions.
- Willingness to develop a solid understanding of Avanade's solutions and offerings.
- Ability to train and mentor internal team resources to enhance client leadership capacity.
- A desire to engage directly with clients in pre-sales and billable activities.
