Your role

As a Clinical Specialist – Structural Heart , you will be the clinical expert for MitraClip™ therapy , supporting healthcare professionals before, during, and after procedures. You will play a key role in enabling safe, effective structural heart interventions and improving outcomes for patients.

This is a field‑based role , working closely with multidisciplinary hospital teams across Sicily and surrounding regions .

What you’ll do

  • Provide hands‑on clinical and technical support in cath labs and operating rooms during MitraClip procedures
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and clinical staff
  • Facilitate collaboration between interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and echocardiographers to ensure smooth procedure planning and execution
  • Deliver field‑based training programs for physicians and hospital teams
  • Engage with referring physicians, presenting structural heart technology and relevant clinical evidence
  • Support the achievement of sales, growth, and budget objectives within the territory
  • Act in full compliance with Abbott procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

What you bring

  • Degree in Biomedical Engineering or an equivalent scientific discipline
  • Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong clinical orientation and interest in patient care
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Relationship‑focused, collaborative approach
  • Results‑driven mindset in a field‑based environment
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in medical devices or a clinical setting
