Co-Founder – Chief Financial Officer

Co-Founder Chief Financial Officer :

• Part-time, unpaid during the early phase.
• Hybrid work model (remote and/or on-site in Milan, Rome, or Boston).
• Travel and meeting expenses will be reimbursed upon approval.
• An NDA must be signed.

Institute Itech is an early-stage multinational company aiming to build a new model of society grounded in three core pillars: education, advanced technology, and social development.

Our goal is to create integrated campuses where high-level education, scientific research, and collective well-being coexist in a sustainable and future-oriented ecosystem.

The company is legally incorporated but not yet operational. We are currently in the brainstorming and conceptualization phase, launching our first pilot projects and defining the foundation of the business. Everything is being built from the ground up — with clarity of intent, ambition, and a long-term vision.

About the Role :

We are looking for a young but experienced Chief Financial Officer to join as a co-founder and help bring this global project to life.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with financial expertise and has a strong personal and professional network. They should be capable of engaging with investors, CEOs, banks, institutions, and top-tier partners, and be motivated to shape a bold, people-centered organization.

As Co-Founder and CFO, you will :

• Design and validate the company’s economic and financial model
• Develop our fundraising strategy and prepare materials for investors
• Set up financial governance, budgeting, and capital management
• Co-develop the business plan, operating structure, and fiscal/legal models
• Support the CEO in identifying leadership profiles and strategic stakeholders
• Ensure legal and financial compliance (USA, EU, international)
• Represent the company in institutional, investor, and public contexts

Requirements :

• Proven experience in finance, corporate strategy, fundraising, or venture capital
• Strategic mindset and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage numbers, economic scenarios, and financial projections
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Fluency in both English and Italian

Preferred Qualifications :

• Background in early-stage startups, investment funds, or innovative environments
• Interest in education, sustainability, healthcare, or advanced tech sectors
• Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with long-term commitment
• Willingness to act as legal signatory and contribute financially in the pre-funding phase
