Job Description Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall Ultrasound products' operating plan in the assigned country. Manage overall in-country operations and strategy for cross-Ultrasound segments, manage expectations of customers from the C-suite level, handle direct, indirect, and Ultrasound multi-segment deals. You shall work closely with and align in-country Ultrasound strategies with AKA Ultrasound segment leaders and teams to deliver the Ultrasound Operating plan in the country.

Role & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  1. Lead and own in-country operations and be accountable for financial consolidation for Ultrasound products for the SEA6 cluster (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar & Laos).
  2. Own the funnel for SEA6’s Ultrasound orders & sales. Accurately forecast orders, sales, and growth opportunities within the territory for all Ultrasound segments.
  3. Develop and execute coverage/distribution strategies for all Ultrasound segments.
  4. Manage channel partners on delivery, schedule, and POs for all Ultrasound segments.
  5. Drive demand creation through talks, seminars, training, and promotional activities.
  6. Develop account penetration strategies for key targets and competitive accounts; communicate market intelligence, field concerns, issues, and requirements.
  7. Provide leadership in market analysis and develop strategies and action plans to achieve financial outcomes.
  8. Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and technical exhibitions to promote products and solutions.
  9. Lead in-country marketing and education activities.
  10. Manage customer expectations: HODs, Finance, Key Decision Makers, Societies, etc.
  11. Handle direct or multi-segment deals involving MOH, tenders, etc.
  12. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within SEA6 cluster. Drive country operating mechanisms and follow-up on leads across Ultrasound product lines.
  13. Act as the primary customer contact in SEA6, representing GE Healthcare in multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events; responsible for issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field.
  • 8-20 years of consultative sales experience in healthcare, focusing on capital equipment, imaging solutions, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex, solution-based environments.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic selling skills; ability to engage at CXO level.
  • Experience managing large, strategic accounts and developing long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Excellent presentation and closing skills; experience with multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare capital equipment sales, especially in Imaging sector.
  • Knowledge of GE Healthcare’s product portfolio and solutions.
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of Malaysia healthcare market and key buying groups.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and documentation skills.
