iGenius is seeking a dynamic Commercial Strategy Manager to lead our commercial strategy efforts. If you excel in crafting business plans, analyzing market trends, and driving growth objectives, this role is for you.
The profile will report directly to the Head of Go to Market and Customer Success .
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Business Plans: You'll be the architect of our business growth, profitability, and market share. Crafting robust plans that marry short-term tactics with long-term strategies, all in perfect alignment with our company's vision and objectives.
- Conduct Comprehensive Market Analysis: Dive deep into market dynamics, dissecting trends, competitor movements, and potential opportunities or threats. Your insights will inform and drive actionable recommendations, steering our business towards growth.
- Design and Refine Pricing Models: Balance revenue maximization, competitive positioning, and customer value. Continuously adjust these structures in response to market shifts and company objectives.
- Optimize Lead Generation and Sales Funnel Analysis: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure efficient lead-to-customer conversions.
- Centralize Communication and Alignment: Act as the linchpin between departments like sales, product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless alignment on strategy and execution.
- Develop Impactful Go-To-Market Strategies: Lead the development and execution of strategies for launching new products or refining existing ones, including market targeting, product positioning, and sales channel orchestration.
- Maintain Transparent Communication: Regularly update senior leadership and stakeholders on strategy progress, challenges, and outcomes to foster trust and alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial strategy, business development, or related fields, preferably in software or tech sectors. Proven success in developing and executing growth-driving business plans.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in market analysis, data interpretation, and financial modeling.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly to internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop aligned business plans, anticipate market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and innovative solution development.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a collaborative environment across departments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, proactive in driving projects.
