Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up the restaurant dining room before and after service, ensuring high cleanliness standards and mise en place according to directives.
  • Support the Chef de Rang in table service, carrying dishes, beverages and discreetly removing used trays efficiently.
  • Ensure that the first and last impression of the guest is positive, promoting professionalism through appearance and manners.
  • Guarantee constant replenishment of bread, water and everything needed at guests’ tables, contributing to efficient station management.
  • Actively collaborate with kitchen and dining team for a harmonious and timely service flow.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward guests and colleagues, demonstrating a positive relationship with the team.
  • Have knowledge of the dishes served in the restaurant and familiarize yourself with the daily menu and beverage offerings to support the Chef de Rang.
  • Be skilled in plating techniques, respecting LQA quality standards.
  • Strictly respect all food hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP) and workplace safety.
  • Assist in handling and resolving simple guest requests and complaints, reporting more complex issues.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in food service, preferably in luxury hotel settings.
  • Passion for the culinary world and a desire to learn and grow professionally.
  • Strong service orientation, courtesy, and proactivity toward guests and team.
  • Ability to work in a team, listen to instructions, and perform tasks with precision and speed.
  • Knowledge of Italian and English to interact with guests and colleagues.
