NHOA Group – Commissioning Engineer

NHOA Energy designs, delivers, and services Battery Energy Storage Systems for utility‑scale and industrial applications worldwide.

The role is part of the Testing & Commissioning Team and supports the start‑up of cutting‑edge Battery Energy Storage Systems worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Execute Pre‑commissioning, Cold Commissioning, and Hot Commissioning activities.
• Validate electrical installations, configuration, and system performance.
• Prepare systems for Customer Acceptance Tests.
• Support factory testing, supplier testing, and test bench activities for R&D and Engineering.
• Work on site approximately 4–5 months per year across international projects.
• Complete commissioning documentation and report non‑conformities.
• Collaborate on HMI/SCADA and control software testing.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, or electronic engineering.
• Knowledge of PLC tools such as S7 and TIA Portal.
• Understanding of power conversion systems.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA tools such as WinCC and TIA Portal.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use test instruments.
• Good English language skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
