Seeking a Commissioning Manager for an EPC contracting company based in Kazakhstan.

Scope of work: Commissioning of Production Trunklines & Test Lines (2x18" production trunk lines and 1x16" test line 3.8 Km) and re-Injection Trunkline (KPC 1st Trunkline): 1x12" re-injection trunkline approximately 5 Km. Includes Compressor (capacity of 12.3 MSCMD), Main Interconnecting & Flare Pipe Racks, Inlet Facilities at KPC (slug catcher area), Brownfield modifications (optional scope), Injection approach facilities, Utilities & Flare System, HP Flare & Flare Interconnecting Piperack System, Remote Manifold Station.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform safe execution of the overall project pre-commissioning and commissioning work scope in accordance with contract documents, specifications, procedures, and plans.
  2. Define and implement overall project pre-commissioning and commissioning strategies and execution plans in collaboration with all involved departments and discipline engineers.
  3. Interface, align, and integrate commissioning plans with project stakeholders, including PMT, Engineering, Completions, Workpack, Planning, Construction, Clients, and vendors.
  4. Coordinate sourcing of manpower, materials, equipment, and third-party services for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, ensuring availability as per plan.
  5. Prepare and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning execution plans and workpacks, ensuring compliance with project standards and quality assurance requirements.
  6. Drive scheduling, resource planning, and interfacing for the overall project schedule related to commissioning.
  7. Lead the development of test procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols for commissioning activities.
  8. Develop performance test procedures and operating manuals to support the Client Commissioning and Operations Team.
  9. Identify and procure necessary tools, test equipment, and consumables for commissioning.
  10. Establish system and sub-system boundaries and populate the Completions database in coordination with the team.
  11. Ensure all data, documentation, and handovers adhere to the Completions process and project procedures.
  12. Report on commissioning progress and status to the Project Manager.
  13. Act as the focal point for client communication regarding commissioning activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Commissioning Manager.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or extensive relevant experience.
