Role

We are currently seeking a Commodity Manager to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy . We are seeking a motivated and curious Junior Commodity Manager to join Vertiv’s Procurement team. This is an ideal opportunity also for recent graduates interested in developing strong skills in sourcing, supplier management, and cost analysis, while learning within a global technology leader.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Support development of commodity strategies.
• Conduct basic market research and cost benchmarking.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance.
• Prepare analyses and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and interest in procurement.
• Fluent in English.
