Purpose of the Role As a Competitive Intelligence Consultant
Deliver objective, timely, and actionable CI insights for clients’ marketed products and pipeline assets
Conduct deep-dive secondary research across clinical, regulatory, and commercial domains
Proactively and continuously monitor clients’ competitive landscapes using diverse sources (e.g., news updates, press releases, investor events, regional clinical trial and regulatory databases) and proprietary platforms such as AlphaSense, Pharmatell, and Citeline
Translate findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations using structured analytical frameworks
Travel requirement:
Attend approximately 4–5 medical conferences per year, including defining coverage objectives, writing session summaries, and developing post-conference client reports
PhD or postgraduate qualification in Pharma/Healthcare, or an MBA
3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical competitive intelligence
Commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, product strategy, and commercialization
Deep expertise in at least one therapeutic area: Oncology, Haematology, Vaccines, Neuroscience, Immunology, or Rare Disease
Strong understanding of commercial, regulatory, and clinical landscapes
