The Compliance Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, product management, quality, and test & validation teams to contribute to all phases of development and delivery of security and safety products.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of mandatory and voluntary certification schemes.
  • Plan and complete certification processes for mechanical and electronic security products.
  • Prepare test reports and supervise testing progress and periodic audits.
  • Suggest product features to achieve required certifications.
  • Interface with local and international certification bodies.
  • Manage information flow with certification bodies.
  • Develop engineering specifications by translating international standards into technical requirements.
  • Track and update periodical changes to international standards and regulations.
  • Participate in international working groups for standard development (mechanical or electronics).
  • Support new product development and sustain existing products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or related engineering (e.g., electromechanical, mechatronics).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 and optionally ISO17025 quality systems.
  • Strong teamwork, problem‑solving, and methodological skills.
  • Broad technical culture to work with both electronic and mechanical standards.
  • Flexibility, curiosity, and willingness to engage in diverse tasks.
