Brief Description Of The Role

In this role, you support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Atlante’s compliance framework. You work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders on regulatory, ethics and governance matters, helping ensure that the Company operates in line with applicable laws, internal policies and best practices across Italy and abroad. The Compliance Officer will join Atlante S.r.l., reporting directly to the General Counsel.

This role creates value by strengthening Atlante’s compliance culture and control environment, helping prevent legal, regulatory and reputational risks. You contribute to protecting the business through clear policies, effective risk assessment, timely regulatory support and sound governance processes, enabling the organization to operate responsibly and sustainably.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and regulatory advice on compliance matters to internal stakeholders across different functions.
  • Design, implement and monitor the compliance program, including policies, procedures, controls and training initiatives.
  • Contribute to compliance risk assessments and support the definition of mitigation and remediation actions.
  • Draft, review and update internal policies and procedures, with a focus on anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption, gifts and hospitality, sponsorships and donations, conflicts of interest and third‑party compliance.
  • Support activities related to Legislative Decree 231/01, including coordination and information flows to the Supervisory Body (Organismo di Vigilanza).
  • Manage and/or assist in the management of whistleblowing reports, internal reviews and investigation‑related follow‑up actions.
  • Provide legal support on digital and cybersecurity regulations, including evolving frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive and the AI Act.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Draft reports, presentations and compliance updates for internal stakeholders and corporate bodies of Atlante S.r.l.
  • Support different business functions on compliance‑related initiatives and projects.
  • Support in liaising with the DPO.
  • Support on Corporate Affairs matters, drafting corporate bodies’ acts and minutes.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training and communication initiatives aimed at strengthening a culture of compliance across the Company and its subsidiaries.

Requirements

  • Italian law degree and 6–7 years of experience in compliance, regulatory and corporate legal matters, gained in‑house and/or in a primary law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, particularly Legislative Decree 231/01 and anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption regulations.
  • Experience in policy drafting, compliance risk assessments, monitoring activities and training support.
  • Experience in whistleblowing processes, internal investigations and remediation plans.
  • Experience in corporate affairs.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and international stakeholders.
  • Confidence in working with diverse stakeholders in a collaborative and evolving environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

  • Qualification as attorney‑at‑law.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and digital regulations.
  • A postgraduate specialization or Master’s degree in Compliance, Corporate Law, Business Ethics or related fields.
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language.
