Descrizione dell'offerta

Nexus Systems è una nuova construction technology startup con sede a Torino. Lavoriamo in inglese. Construction accounts for roughly 40% of global CO₂ emissions, and it is one of the few major industries that has barely changed in fifty years. Nexus is closing that gap with a full-stack approach that turns each building into a manufactured product. We develop building systems for structure and envelope, adapted to bespoke projects in partnership with developers in Europe and the United States. Nexus performs design-for-manufacture and engineering of prefabricated building systems and manufactures them via a distributed network of partner factories across Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. We pioneer AI in the Physical world with the Nexus Operating System: a proprietary software layer that enables us to configure our building components, manage production data and orchestrate production & pre-assembly through a digital interface.
Full-time Building Engineer role in the TECHNICAL DESIGN team at our Turin office. You will be an individual contributor for the Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA) and production documentation of our prefabricated building systems. On each project you will: Lead the development of the technical design of your scope through close coordination with the rest of the Nexus team, our engineering consultants, and the Engineer of Record (EOR) and Architect of Record (AOR). Perform Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DfMA). Plan production and design efficient systems for the production of building components. Produce production documents and work together with the Nexus OPERATIONS team to liaise with manufacturing partners across Italy & DACH for the production of component parts.
You hold a Building Engineering degree. Candidates with a Technical Architecture background and a strong understanding of building systems, construction and manufacturing qualify too. Civil or Structural Engineering candidates who model precisely and produce production documents efficiently will be considered as well. You have detailed construction systems and produced shop drawings in a prior role. You are efficient and able to follow modelling standards in a 3D environment, and you produce precise, production-ready documentation.
Rhinoceros 3D (RHINO) by McNeel
is the tool of choice; a mechanical engineering background working in SolidWorks, OnShape or similar will qualify too. Fluent
English and Italian.
Architect and software engineer trained at Cambridge. Previously co-founder and CEO of Maestro Technologies (2023-2026), a design & build startup scaled from zero to a €5M-revenue business with bespoke architectural projects constructed in Europe, US, China and South America.
