Role Overview
We are seeking a digitally fluent, creative, and highly organized Content & Digital Communication Specialist to join our Global Corporate Marketing and Sales Excellence team. This role is a cornerstone for our brand’s voice across digital platforms and content touchpoints – combining content strategy, social media engagement, storytelling, and multimedia production .
You will create and manage content that informs, inspires, and strengthens our positioning in the material handling industry - especially through LinkedIn, YouTube, the corporate website , and other owned channels. You will also support corporate communications and external PR by coordinating with freelancers and agencies when necessary.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-moving industrial B2B environment and understands how to translate complex topics into powerful narratives.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
- Lead the planning, creation, and repurposing of engaging content for web, social media, and internal distribution channels-especially LinkedIn, YouTube, and the corporate “Content Hub”.
- Write clear, compelling copy for blog articles, case studies, scripts, social posts, newsletters, and short-form formats.
- Collaborate with regional teams, product managers, and subject matter experts to extract technical insights and transform them into customer-relevant stories.
- Ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice aligned with Interroll’s global brand strategy.
Digital & Social Media Management
- Own the company’s global social media calendar and campaigns (primarily LinkedIn and YouTube), driving visibility, engagement, and thought leadership.
- Monitor platform trends, adapt formats accordingly, and use analytics to improve content performance.
- Support paid social campaigns in coordination with the digital marketing team.
Editorial Planning & Coordination
- Maintain and align the global editorial calendar together with the Head of Communication and local marketing teams.
- Scout industry trends, themes, and timely content opportunities to keep our messaging fresh and relevant.
- Oversee external contributors (copywriters, video editors, PR freelancers) to extend production capacity when needed.
Media Relations & PR Support
- Act as liaison to specialized trade media and industry associations when required.
- Coordinate with PR freelancers for press releases and event-related media activities.
- Support the development and adaptation of press kits, trade show narratives, and media briefings as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B content creation, digital marketing, or social media-ideally in industrial, engineering, or technology sectors.
- Experience with editorial storytelling, managing digital platforms, and writing for technical audiences.
Skills
- Advanced English writing and editing skills are a must -especially for short-form, engaging content.
- Excellent storytelling ability and a strong sense for visual + written communication.
- Proficiency in content planning tools, social media scheduling platforms (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite), and CMS environments (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore).
- Good project management skills and ability to multitask across topics and stakeholders.
- Video scripting/editing or basic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express) are a plus.
Languages
- Fluent English required (C1 or above).
- German proficiency is a strong plus.
- Italian helpful for internal communication, but not mandatory.
