Our company is currently looking for a professional Contract Manager with extensive experience in large Onshore EPC projects.

This position involves a significant tender with an approximate value of €1 billion.

WORK PURPOSE

Manage all contractual aspects of the project concerning the Main Contract and Subcontracts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform offer analysis from a contractual and administrative perspective (Terms & Conditions), report risks and opportunities, and propose requests for clarification or deviation to the Proposal Manager and Commercial Director;
  • Coordinate the initial analysis of the contract and related documentation to inform the Project Manager of risks and opportunities and support the development of the management strategy;
  • Assist the Project Manager in official communications with contractual implications;
  • Draft contractual conditions, addendums, and amicable/settlement agreements;
  • Manage the preparation of Variations/Claims and EoT requests to the customer and/or subcontractors;
  • Assist in negotiations of claims and variations;
  • Support the Project Manager and coordinate with Legal to prevent and manage disputes with the Client and suppliers;
  • Ensure continuous update of the contractual status through documentation collection (change orders, correspondence, etc.);
  • Keep the Contract Management Leader informed of the status of existing contracts and promptly report critical risks or issues.

The Contract Manager reports hierarchically to the relevant department and coordinates daily operations with the Project Manager.

REQUIRED COMPETENCES

  • At least 15 years of experience in the role;
  • Fluent in English (Russian is a plus);
  • Experience in major oil & gas projects.
