Mission
- His/her overall goal is to reduce the number of defects on our cars in the field
- His/her main role is to perform pre-analysis of issues in the field: characterization & handover.
Within his/her scope of responsibility (e.g. vehicle area, propulsion, etc.), he/she is responsible for:
- Detecting issues in the field
- Raising alerts in case of crisis situations (or recurrence or potential media impact)
- Assigning the issue to the appropriate owner (supplier, plant, engineering, aftersales) with the right level of priority; or, if the issue is already known, updating the relevant database
All available sources of issue detection should be leveraged (e.g. warranty claims, internal incident reports, connected vehicle data, etc.)
Use of AI and big data analytics tools to perform the activities.
Main Responsibilities
As a Pre-Analyst, he/she has a defined scope of responsibility (e.g. vehicle area, propulsion, engineering domain). Within this scope, he/she is responsible for:
- Detecting issues in the field (safety, breakdowns or incidents)
- Raising alerts in case of potential crisis situations (or recurrence or potential media impact)
- Performing pre-analysis of incoming issues: assigning them to the appropriate owner (supplier, plant, engineering, aftersales) with the right level of priority; or, if the issue is already known, updating the relevant database
All activities are carried out in accordance with existing standards and are tracked through internal IT systems (Palantir/Foundry, GIM/Altis/PLM).

Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in the automotive industry
- Solid understanding of both hardware and software systems
- Fluent in English
- Familiar with Data Lakes, Databases, and AI logic
- Understanding of connected vehicles and OTA data
- Agile, proactive, and analytical problem solver
- Strong interest in working within a global and multicultural environment
