Head of Controlling - Power Electronics. This role translates BU and GPG strategy into clear, actionable business plans, ensuring alignment across units while setting measurable objectives that drive performance. It oversees the implementation of standardized guidelines and global processes— including assurance and compliance— to maintain consistency and operational excellence. With full ownership of planning and forecasting, it monitors performance against targets, analyses variances, identifies key issues, and supports decision‑making by driving timely corrective actions. In parallel, it establishes and strengthens the Power Electronics finance organization, continuously enhancing cost discipline, productivity, capital efficiency, cash flow, and overall profitability. The position reports to the GPG Controller, with a dotted line to the Power Electronics Manager.

How you will make an impact

• Strategy – Contributes to the definition of the strategy for the Power Electronics business, partners with the Business Manager, develops a global business model, and implements adjustments as needed.
• Business planning and forecasting – Translates strategy into business plans, establishes measurable targets, oversees planning and forecasting, and serves as the interface to GPG Controller.
• Business performance – Monitors progress, provides insight, identifies issues, advises management, and drives cost structure, productivity optimization, capital efficiency, and cash‑flow improvement.
• Risk management – Assesses risk exposure, defines mitigation strategies, ensures consistent implementation, and communicates commercial and financial risks.
• Optimization – Leads cross‑functional initiatives, defines and implements global standards and business‑specific guidelines for continuous improvement.
• Communication and knowledge sharing – Provides guidance, facilitates best‑practice sharing, and ensures alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
• Internal controls and compliance – Ensures transparency in reporting, implements internal controls, ensures compliance, supports audits, and signs the Assurance letter.
• Financial reporting – Oversees processes and tools for transparent, reliable financial data and business information, ensuring high quality and timely closing.
• People leadership and development – Ensures organisation, staffing, and development of the area of responsibility, guiding and motivating subordinates.

Your background

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; technical background preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controlling.
• Skilled in leading global projects and programmes with cross‑functional teams.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Advanced problem‑solving and analytical abilities with strong prioritization skills.
