Overview
The role is part of the Corporate Controlling & Planning department, a central function within our multinational Group, reporting directly to the Group Management Consolidation & Reporting Manager. As a Group-level function, the team provides a comprehensive and integrated view of the Group’s businesses, processes, performance, and key business dynamics, ensuring broad visibility across the organization and supporting effective Group governance and decision-making.The candidate will join the team in an agile, dynamic, and evolving business environment, playing a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making by providing detailed financial insights. Main Activities & Responsibilities
Management Consolidation: budget, forecasts, year-end closing, monthly closing, and five-year plan. Variance & Profitability Analysis: Analyze profitability and identify key variances against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance. P&L Management & Compliance: Ensure accurate income and cost allocations in the Group Management P&L, aligning with Group guidelines and standards. Reporting & Performance Tracking: Produce weekly and monthly performance reports (sales, headcount, P&L). Business Decision Support: Assist in developing business cases, ad-hoc financial analyses, and presentations for leadership meetings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Group top management, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive financial insights. Intercompany Operations: Support intercompany transactions activities, including calculations, variance analysis, and agreement definitions. Job Requirements
Education:
degree in Economics is mandatory. Experience: Previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, preferably gained within a structured corporate environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint); knowledge of CCH Tagetik is a plus. Language Skills: Full professional fluency in both
English and Italian
(written and spoken). Personal Attributes: Excellent analytical skills & detail-oriented; high level of integrity and commitment to accuracy. Effective communication and presentation skills. Dynamic & Adaptable: thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment, managing tight deadlines with agility. Problem Solver: proactive mindset with strong critical-thinking abilities. Team Player & Self-Driven: demonstrates strong autonomy, combined with excellent interpersonal skills to foster teamwork internally and build strong relationships across functions.
