Cost Controller

We are looking for a Cost Controller to join our Project Control team in Assago and support cost control activities for EPC projects in the electrical and electromechanical sector (substations) within Carlo Gavazzi Impianti.
The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, identifying and analyzing deviations from the budget, and ensuring that corrective actions are effectively tracked. The role also contributes to fostering a strong cost-awareness culture within the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support budgeting and cost control activities
- Prepare regular cost reports and analysis
- Collect and maintain cost data and related documentation
- Prepare Business Unit cost status reports, cost commitments, and cash flow curves in line with project control guidelines
- Participate in change management processes, including cost estimates for variations and updates to project reports
- Analyze cost trends and support forecasting activities
- Ensure timely updates of budget and schedule changes in control systems
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in cost control or project-based roles
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems (JDE is a plus)
- Professional level of English
- Degree in Economics or Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Location: Assago (MI), with availability for short international business trips
