Costing Coordinator, Accessories

Reports to: Costing, Engineering and Production Director, Accessories

Location: Scandicci, Florence, Jimmy Choo Florence

Job Purpose

The person on this role will be in charge of managing Accessories finished goods sourcing, purchasing and production, in order to contribute improving the company's performance and competitiveness.

He/she will Cooperate effectively with all the departments in Jimmy Choo Florence and with Merchandising team in London HQ.

Main Responsibilities include:

Costing and Purchasing

• Post Edit / Pre and Post sales campaign opening
• Organise post-edit meetings with managers to define cost reduction actions (reallocations, negotiations, cancellations).
• Formalising and coordinating the saving plan.
• Collaborate with the raw materials purchasing manager for joint actions.
• Participate in allocation meetings and manage contacts with suppliers for renegotiations.
• Supervise the freezing of costs in PLM and the correctness of FG cost sheets/lists.
• Finalise reports and update the list of saving actions.
• Negoziation : Negotiate costs with suppliers according to the defined plan and contain cost increases.
• Sourcing & Benchmarking : Analysing alternative suppliers on a regular basis and updating the company database.
• Annual Saving Action plans : Define the saving plan during the budget phase in coordination with other departments.
• Margin analysis : Review with the Merch team the final markups of the collections.
• Reporting management: Oversee database benchmarking, savings achieved, office reports and cost trends, ensuring accuracy, updating and follow-up.

Background, Skills and Experience

• A qualification in a relevant subject such as BA, engineering, statistics or management
• Information Technology (stealth, PLM ect.)
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Experience: 6 years
