Summary:


  • We're seeking a Country Manager to oversee and grow our operations within the Regional Center Western Europe. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, covering team leadership, budget management, and market expansion. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, focused on strengthening our position and accelerating growth in Italy.


Your tasks:


  • Lead the technical and personnel operations of the photovoltaic division in Italy, overseeing both the sales team and, when necessary, the project development team.
  • Hold full accountability for sales performance, profitability, and market growth in Italy.
  • Gradually assume overall management responsibilities for the national subsidiary.
  • Drive the strategic development of the business unit, enhancing market presence and competitive positioning.
  • Lead the acquisition and negotiation of EPC contracts for both ground-mounted and commercial rooftop PV systems.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external project developers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Proactively identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Manage divisional budgets, staffing, and performance targets.
  • Collaborate with corporate departments on legal, reporting, and financial control matters.
  • Represent the company at key trade fairs, industry events, and conferences.


Who we are looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including leadership responsibilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the PV industry, including expertise in tendering processes and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident, results-oriented sales approach.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian
  • Strong network within the Italian PV sector and a solid grasp of local market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally.
