Mapo Tapo is a platform where outdoor sports enthusiasts can book trips organized by certified guides around the world. Activities include rock climbing, hiking, mountaineering, ski-touring, ice-climbing, via-ferrata, and snowshoeing. The platform also helps adventurers find buddies to share these experiences with.

Job Summary

The Mapo Tapo team is seeking an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric Creator account manager to help lead this outdoor-focused early-stage startup to its next stage of growth.

This is quite a stretched role in terms of responsibilities (as it often happens in startups). It goes from contacting new content creators and partners and explaining our Ambassador program (conversion-based partnership) to onboarding them in the program and following up on the contractualization and activation.

This individual is a crucial team member, accelerating the growth of Mapo Tapo.

The ideal candidate is INCREDIBLY passionate about mountains and actively participates (20-30 times a year) in at least two mountain-related outdoor sports (like rock climbing, hiking, mountaineering, ski-touring, snow-shoeing, via ferrata, or ice climbing). Additionally, she/he excels in stakeholder management, enjoys engaging with people, and is well-liked by those she/he interacts with. She/he can seamlessly transition between analytical planning and operational execution. This is a six-month paid internship (600 euro/month)

Key Job Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting in defining strategy and executing plans to increase Mapo Tapo content creators’ network
• Managing and updating the partners’ pipeline, to make sure partners are activated, and progress is tracked
• Helping manage daily operations
• On-boarding new content creators and helping them successfully start generating bookings
• Prepare and deliver business reviews to the team, updating progress and roadblocks.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to think strategically and creatively using sound business judgment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, a flexible attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit
• Fluency in speaking and writing in English (speaking Italian is not necessary)
• You don't need any previous work experience (even if some is appreciated). Just A LOT of willingness to learn
