CSA Site Engineer – Data Centre Project
Location: Milan, Italy
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: €700 per day (All-In)
We are seeking an experienced CSA Site Engineer to join a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile mission-critical development with a leading contractor delivering one of Europe's most significant data centre programmes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works on site, ensuring delivery in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.
- Review drawings, technical submissions, and method statements.
- Monitor construction progress and identify potential risks or delays.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring compliance with design and project standards.
- Support the management team with planning, reporting, and progress updates.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, commissioning, and client-side teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist with snagging, handover, and project close-out activities.
Requirements
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working as a CSA Engineer, Site Engineer, or Construction Engineer on large-scale construction projects.
- Previous data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, mission-critical, or industrial project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural construction practices.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work fronts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and meet demanding programme milestones.
