Berco is part of ThyssenKrupp Group and produces undercarriages for mining, construction, forestry and agriculture machinery.
Italian Offices and the largest factory are located in Copparo ( Ferrara).
We are aiming to hire an:
Customer Quality Manager who will report to the SGI & Quality Director.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing customer-side quality, with the goal of ensuring customer satisfaction through the monitoring, analysis, and resolution of non-conformities, as well as the continuous improvement of company processes. They will work closely with the Production, Technical, and Sales departments, serving as a point of reference for all issues related to the quality perceived by the customer.
The planned activities include:
- Daily interaction with OEM customers
- Management of customer complaints: collection, analysis, response, and follow-up
- Coordination of problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
- Monitoring of customer quality indicators (PPM, complaints, audits)
- Management of customer inspections and audits
- Collaboration with the internal quality team to implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support in defining and updating customer technical specifications
- Preparation of periodic reports and presentations for management
The ideal candidate has developed a significant similar experience within other companies working within Quality Department.
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3–5 years of experience in similar roles within the automotive or advanced mechanical engineering sectors
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with key quality methodologies (8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and familiarity with IATF 16949
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus
