Turnaround Intern | Milan
The opportunity to build a better future is right in front of you. In a new business context influenced by factors such as the pandemic, supply chain disruptions, rising logistics and energy costs, and social changes triggered by the Russia‑Ukraine conflict, our clients must radically rethink their development strategy and review their production and logistics assets. In the Restructuring division, we are recruiting specialists for our Turnaround and Operational Improvement team and are looking for a young professional in the Supply Chain and Logistics area. Key Responsibilities
Manage advisory projects for logistics and distribution at the client's production sites and warehouses, integrating all involved functions and monitoring project progress and planned actions. Steer supply‑chain optimisation projects (including procurement, transport, and production) for international companies by implementing lean manufacturing practices and applying the SCOR model. Plan replenishment of supplies and intermodal flows, scale warehouses, design logistics networks, and conduct feasibility studies. Improve EBITDA and working capital by optimising procurement, inventory policies, supply‑chain processes, industrial processes, and internal logistics; design layout, eliminate redundant activities, and allocate resources. Candidate Profile / Qualifications
Specialist degree in engineering. Excellent knowledge of English, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad. Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office. Solid experience in managing operations issues and expertise in cost‑cutting projects and streamlining of production sites. Experience in optimisation of supply‑chain systems (inbound/outbound), warehouse rationalisation, transport optimisation, inventory reduction, and customer‑service improvement. What We Offer
Inclusive and equitable work environment that respects, encourages and values diversity. Challenging and dynamic environment that encourages creativity and teamwork. Hybrid work arrangements to promote a healthy work‑life balance. Advanced training and development programmes to stay current. International mindset and innovative projects. Initiatives focused on mental and physical well‑being. Commitment to leadership, teamwork, respect for every individual, continuous learning, transparency, community commitment and integrity.
