As we expand our product portfolio and global presence our Security Research department is hiring a Cybersecurity Data Analyst to join our Security Research team. The Data Analyst is responsible for expanding and maintaining accuracy in our vulnerability dataset. The candidate will be working independently and in a team to collect, enhance and improve data related to vulnerabilities affecting systems and devices as well as to automate this process. The ideal person for this position has an interest in cybersecurity, expertise in data collection and processing activities, a solid organizational attitude and knowledge of Python. Responsibilities

• Perform data collection, data entry and data analysis.
• Coordinate with the team to actively deliver results.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency for data in different custom and standard formats.
• Apply logic and strategies to correctly classify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and extend systems to automate this process.

Qualifications

• Understanding of cyber security vulnerabilities including reading security advisories and CVEs.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
• Experience handling large data sets.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a fully remote team.
• Ability to read the documentation in order to select and extract relevant information.
• Experience in developing systems in Python.
• Attitude to operate in environments including data covered by non-disclosure agreements and having a high level of confidentiality.
• Machine learning and/or vulnerability management experience is a strong advantage.
• Successful candidates will be subjected to background verification checks.
