As we expand our product portfolio and global presence, our Security Research department is hiring a Cybersecurity Data Analyst to join our Security Research team.

The Data Analyst is responsible for expanding and maintaining accuracy in our vulnerability dataset. The candidate will work independently and in a team to collect, enhance, and improve data related to vulnerabilities affecting systems and devices as well as to automate this process. The ideal candidate has an interest in cybersecurity, expertise in data collection and processing activities, a solid organisational attitude, and knowledge of Python. Responsibilities

  • Perform data collection, data entry, and data analysis.
  • Coordinate with the team to actively deliver results.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency for data in different custom and standard formats.
  • Apply logic and strategies to correctly classify vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and extend systems to automate this process.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of cyber security vulnerabilities, including reading security advisories and CVEs.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
  • Experience handling large data sets.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a fully remote team.
  • Ability to read documentation in order to select and extract relevant information.
  • Experience in developing systems in Python.
  • Attitude to operate in environments with data covered by non-disclosure agreements and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Machine learning and/or vulnerability management experience is a strong advantage.
