Software Architect

for its Roma Laurentina site.

Responsibilities

Analyse requirements related to the management, processing and archiving of geo‑spatial data.

Design databases, representation styles and processing and transformation workflows for such data.

Develop micro‑services tailored to the processing of geo‑spatial data streams.

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Telecommunications or another STEM field.

Senior level: At least 5 years of responsibility in the development and/or specification of requirements and design of Command and Control systems.

Experience in GIS system design and knowledge of major GIS platforms such as Geoserver, ESRI, etc.

Technical Skills

GIS Technologies: ESRI ArcGIS Server, ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET, Luciad RIA, GeoServer, Cesium, OpenLayer, Leaflet.

Relational DBMS: Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL DBMS: MongoDB.

Programming Languages: Java, Python, R, JavaScript, Angular.

Middleware components such as BPM, ESB and Kafka.

Experience with micro‑services architectures and Kubernetes clusters.

Preferred: Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Agile development methodology.

Language Requirements

Italian: native level.

English: B2 level.
