With over 60,000 employees worldwide, the company has a solid industrial presence in Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, the United States, and operates in 150 countries also through subsidiaries, joint ventures and shareholdings.A protagonist in the main strategic programs at a global level, it is a technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions and companies.Within the **Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area**, we are looking for a **Solution Architect** for our **Florence – Campi Bisenzio** office.The selected person will contribute to the design of **Mission Critical Communication and Global Monitoring Solutions**.In particular, they will be responsible for the following activities:* Identification, design, evolution, description and economic evaluation of technical/systemic solutions in the field of Mission Critical Communications & Global Monitoring based on 4G/5G technologies, Microservice and Virtualized Architectures, Data Center, Cloud, Networking, AI, Secure Digital and Cyber Security;
* Identify the Bill OfMaterials (BOM) and draw up the Statements of Work (SoW) necessary for the issuance of Purchase Requests (RdA) for material in collaboration with the Program Management, Quality and Procurement Functions;
* Ensure the achievement of objectives in terms of compliance with contractual requirements, satisfaction of end customers, costs and availability times of the solution;
* Research innovative solutions that allow, in addition to achieving the set objectives, the optimization of resources used and operating costs;
* Produce the necessary technical documentation to support the identified solutions, both for other company functions and for customers;
* Address detailed requirements to the Engineering, integration and test teams for the development and validation of new product functionalities required by the programs;
* Guarantee continuoustechnical support starting from the bidding phase throughout the entire program life cycle, including the warranty part, in coordination with the stakeholders involved in the process.The candidate will have to operate in a competitive and dynamic environment that requires excellent technical preparation, adaptability and the ability to confront and interact with different company functions, identifying appropriate solutions while respecting agreed deadlines.**REQUIREMENTS****Education**Degree or Master's Degree in STEM disciplines (preferably Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering).**Seniority**Expert. At least 5 years of work experience are welcome with reference to:* Design of Mission Critical Narrowband and/or Business Critical 4G/5G telecommunication networks (Core Network and RAN)* Design of solutions based on Virtualized and/or Microservices architectures implemented on premises, in the cloud or on customer data centers;
* Network Design & Management;
* Networking & Security network design.**Technical knowledge and skills:*** Knowledge of Narrowband (TETRA), Broadband 4G/LTE and 5G (3GPP standard) communication technologies and standards;
* Knowledge of the most common Virtualization Solutions and the principles of micro-service architectures, containerization and DevOps;
* Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and notions of switching, routing, addressing, segmentation, Wide & Local Area LANs, tunneling, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, Security for wired and wireless network solutions (any certifications on networking and security components are a preferential title, e.G. CISCO CCNA and CCNP, Fortinet certifications);
* Basic knowledge of Global Monitoring solutions (Control Room, GIS, Fleet Mapping, Databases);
* Basic knowledge of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies for data analysis, workflow automation, video analysis.**Language skills:**English (B2)**IT knowledge:*** Good knowledge of the main operating systems and excellent use of office software;
