A protagonist in major global strategic programs, it is a technological and industrial partner for Governments, Defense Administrations, Institutions, and businesses.Within the **Cyber & Security Solutions** Division, we are looking for a **Solutions Architect** for one of our offices in **Genoa – Fiumara** or **Rome – Laurentina**.The resource will cover the role on complex projects (Cybersecurity, Cloud, Digital Transformation, Physical Security) in the Space, Defense, and NATO sectors.They will act as the primary technical reference for the client, coordinating multidisciplinary and geographically distributed technical teams (internal, industrial partners, and sub-contractors) throughout the entire Systems Engineering V-Cycle.The person will be responsible for the following activities:* Act as the technical interface with the client for all engineering aspects of projects, including through in-person meetings and co-location.* Lead and coordinate Systems Engineering activities through all phases of the V-Cycle, including: * Coordination and review of requirements gathering, analysis, and management (user, system, and subsystem requirements). * System architecture and System Design (logical & physical architecture). * Coordination of detailed design activities for software, hardware, and infrastructural subsystems. * Planning and management of IVVQ (Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification) activities. * Support for the preparation of technical documentation (SRS, SSDD, ICD, DVVP, etc.).* Define and control technical baselines and ensure technical alignment among all stakeholders.* Manage technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR, Acceptance).* Support PM and Contract Manager in managing technical risks and critical project decisions.* Contribute to Pre-Sales and Bid activities (technical proposal, compliance matrix, solution outline, estimates, and technical planning).* Ensure compliance with domain standards (NATO, ECSS, MIL-STDs, STANAG).**REQUIREMENTS****Education**Master's Degree in STEM Disciplines, preferably in IT.Any Masters, Certifications, and/or specific courses in Systems Engineering (e.G., INCOSE) or other technical certifications in Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Service management are considered a plus.**Seniority**Senior. At least **5 years of work experience** as a **Systems Engineer**, **Solutions Architect**, **Technical Authority, Technical Officer** (or similar) on complex projects in NATO, ESA (or similarly regulated and structured contexts), in one or more areas related to: Cybersecurity, Cloud, Digital Workplace, Information Systems.**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS*** **Domain Competencies:** * Experience in managing system-level documentation and technical baselines * Familiarity with industry standards such as ECSS, MIL, STANAG* **Role Competencies:** * Requirements engineering & traceability. * System architecture & modeling. * System Integration & verification methodologies. * Technical risk management. * Configuration & change control. * Project review management according to NASA/ECSS/NATO standards (or similar) * Management of distributed multidisciplinary teams* **Technological Competencies in one or more areas:** * **Cybersecurity:** Security Architectures, Solutions and Products (SIEM, SOAR, FW, Identity, VDI), Zero-Trust, standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS). * **Cloud:** cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS), hybrid-cloud, virtualization. * **Digital Workplace:** collaboration systems, IAM, endpoint security. * **Information Systems:** distributed architectures, microservices, middleware.* (nice to have) project experience in Classified contexts will be considered a plus.**BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES*** Leadership: ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of varying seniority within complex / matrix organizations, inspiring and guiding others towards a common goal, adopting the appropriate leadership style depending on the context.* Authoritativeness: ability to represent one's team and company in structured contexts, with technically prepared interlocutors, in a serious, professional, and ethically correct manner.* Collaboration and Teamwork: ability to work in multidisciplinary teams contributing with experience and technical vision.* Relationship and listening: effective dialogue with different interlocutors, combining active listening and authority to understand and translate requirements into concrete solutions.* Time management: managing priorities and deadlines in complex and dynamic contexts.* Problem solving: rapid identification of critical issues and definition of practical and sustainable solutions.* Quality and results orientation: attention to the precision of deliverables and the full achievement of individual and team objectives.* Proactivity and innovation: personal initiative in proposing improvements and contributing to the evolution of processes and methodologies.**LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE:*** Knowledge of English language required, at least B2/C1 level.* (nice to have) Knowledge of another European language (French or German) will be considered a plus.**IT KNOWLEDGE:*** Excellent knowledge of the Office suite and collaboration tools;
* Excellent knowledge of architecture modeling tools (Archimate) and UML;
* Excellent knowledge of requirements management tools (Polarion, DOORS);
