La posizione è aperta all’interno del team di Leonardo.**Job Description:**Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners of the GCAP (Global Combat Air Programme) program, along with the British BAE Systems and the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, aimed at the development and realization of a new generation aerial system, defined as a “system of systems”. Used for multi-domain operations in defense, the system will feature a “core platform” connected to other peripheral “adjunct” systems, both piloted and unpiloted.The program, among the most challenging and futuristic for the aerospace and defense industry, will drive the technological revolution that will characterize the sector in the next fifty years. A challenge aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the countries involved, because it aims to identify and make available those innovative, enabling technologies that will ensure a generational leap, generating positive returns and economic and social progress for the entire country system, benefiting new generations.Resources working within this program will have the opportunity to access a professional growth path in an international and technologically advanced context.Within the **Cyber & Security Solutions** Business Area, we are looking for **System Architects** for the **Rome Laurentina**, **Genoa Fiumara**, and **Turin** offices to be included in the **Defence & Government Business Line of Business (LoB)** directly involved in the GCAP program.The technological areas in which the resource will be involved will be:* Active and passive cybersecurity solutions, including AI security and Cyber effects in the Electromagnetic Domain, low-level security systems, embedded systems;
* Cloud systems for collaboration, design, and operation support (enabler) also in classified environments;
The sought-after figure will be responsible for:* Supervising, as **system engineering**, all activities related to the creation of systems for classified cloud, development of digital and cyber technologies;
* Requirement gathering, selection of products and solutions, integration of different components in compatibility with existing or in-design systems;
* Interacting with external and internal stakeholders to identify system requirements and design architectural solutions;
* Coordinating internal technical departments (engineering, technology development, and products) and overseeing design and progress meetings for activities;
* Verifying the adherence of developed solutions to customer and program requirements, ensuring consistency between the different system components;
* Supervising the subsequent verification and validation phase, ensuring they comply with all established requirements;
* Coordinating the technical proposal phase.**REQUIREMENTS****Education**Degree in STEM disciplines**Seniority*** At least 2 years of experience in a similar position* Experience in managing projects in consortium with foreign partners is a plus**Technical and professional skills*** Ability to analyze, gather, systematize technical requirements, and estimate effort* Skills on cloud systems for collaboration, design, and operation support (enabler) also in classified environments* Proficiency in the following environments, languages, and tools (Simulink, SysML, Doors, Model Based Design)* Previous experience in the Defense sector, with particular reference to aeronautical systems and land vehicles, is a plusKnowledge of the following standards is also welcome:* ISO 15288, MIL-STD-498, DO-254, DO-178C, DO-2167A, etc.**Language skills:**Knowledge of English at B1/B2 level or higher, particularly in the technical field.**Behavioral skills:*** Ability to manage complex projects* Communication and relationship skills with the client (internal and external)* Organizational and coordination skills, with particular reference to internal resources, suppliers, and program/project partners* Strong aptitude for teamwork and team leadership* Negotiation skills* Responsibility and reliability regarding commitments made* Aptitude for planning one's own work and the work of the project team* Ability to work in dynamic contexts with multiple complexities and different stakeholders**Other:*** Availability for short-medium term international travel**Seniority:**Expert**Primary Location:**IT - Roma - Via Laurentina**Additional Locations:**IT - Torino - C.So Marche**Contract Type:**Permanent**Hybrid Working:**HybridQuesta opportunità è disponibile nelle seguenti città: Genoa, Rome, Turin.
