We seek a visionary Data & AI Architect to join our team and lead our Data & AI initiatives within CRM and beyond.

The Data & AI Architect is a senior role within the Solution Engineering organization, requiring frequent interaction with C-level executives and key decision-makers to drive change and innovation.

As the primary technical advisor for Data & AI at Salesforce, your mission is to accelerate adoption of our Data & AI products. You will educate customers on trusted generative AI, guiding them from strategy to execution, and fueling their success and Salesforce’s growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Engage with C-level executives to assess their Data & AI maturity and develop transformational roadmaps.
  2. Collaborate with Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams to identify AI use cases that enhance customer interactions and efficiency, designing tailored solutions.
  3. Build trust with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CSOs, and other leaders as they adopt AI technologies.
  4. Select appropriate Salesforce and third-party technologies for customer architectures based on product knowledge and industry standards.
  5. Present at public events, showcasing AI’s impact on CRM, from single-account sessions to major conferences like Dreamforce.
  6. Develop reference models for integrating GPT-based products into CRM, unlocking new insights and personalized experiences.
  7. Partner with security and privacy teams to ensure ethical AI implementation and build trust.
  8. Create reusable assets for Sales and Solutions teams aligned with industry and CRM processes.
  9. Serve as the main contact for product management and marketing regarding AI, representing local market needs and advocating for AI-powered CRM solutions.

Skills and Experiences

  • 10+ years of industry experience in data warehousing, AI/ML, data analytics, data science, or cloud computing
  • Deep experience in enterprise architecture advisory and value realization
  • Passion for AI and its potential to transform customer relationship management
  • Recognition as a leader in Data Platforms and AI/ML, with publications, blogs, or presentations
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS software
  • Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience (preferred)

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with GPT-based technologies and NLP for CRM
  • Public speaking and thought leadership in Italy around AI
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce products like Einstein, MuleSoft, Tableau, and Slack within CRM
