Job Description
Within the Group Chief Operating Office function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the Group AI & Automation Strategy and Business Adoption Unit, who leads the strategic integration of AI and automation across Generali Group. It defines the Group-wide strategy, identifies high-impact opportunities in core business areas such as pricing, claims, underwriting, and operations, and steers flagship programs to accelerate transformation. The unit also manages the Group roadmap and tracks the economic value generated by AI and automation initiatives.
Data & AI Business Adoption Lead
This role acts as a strategic interface between Generali's Business Units and the Group AI & Automation Strategy and Business Adoption function. It is pivotal in translating the Group's AI and automation strategy into tangible local initiatives, identifying high-impact opportunities, and ensuring the successful adoption of global AI assets across markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and prioritizing high-impact AI & Automation use cases with Business Units, building strong business cases and clear KPIs
- Curating and managing the Group pipeline of initiatives, focusing on scalable, cross-market opportunities
- Collaborating with local and global teams through workshops and working sessions to shape and validate opportunities
- Tracking adoption and performance of flagship programs, ensuring visibility on progress, blockers, and enablers
- Developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and governance bodies
- Partnering with Group functions (e.g. Strategy, HR, OpEx) to integrate AI initiatives into broader transformation programs
- Contributing to change management and community-building by sharing success stories and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or any related quantitative field
- 3-5 years' of experience in strategy, analytics, or transformation
- Experience in consulting, insurance, or financial services will be considered a plus
- Skilled in PowerPoint/Excel; knowledge of BI tools will be considered a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
