About the Role

We are looking for a Data Center Engineer to support the development and delivery of data center projects in Italy. The successful candidate will be involved in site assessment, technical due diligence, permitting, utility coordination, and the review of critical infrastructure systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Working closely with internal teams, engineering consultants, utilities, authorities, and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the successful development of data center projects from early-stage feasibility through detailed design and construction support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of data center projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Evaluate potential sites and perform technical feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate permitting and approval processes with local authorities.
• Review engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Support utility connection activities, including power and telecommunications.
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in data centers, energy, utilities, industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent Italian and good English skills.
