Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain minimal viable prototypes to scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform and distribute numerous data streams and batches in support of key Market Operation initiatives.
  • Support and collaborate with Data Scientists to develop advanced machine learning and statistical models.
  • Evaluate tools and develop pipelines to capture, integrate and clean data to support edge analytics solutions.
  • Deliver optimal data solution architectures, automation and technical choices from experimentation through proof of concept and often through delivery.
  • Grow your skills continuously, improving mastery in big data and exploring new learning paths with internal and external guides worldwide.

Job Qualifications

  • Be a penultimate or final year Master’s student in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Software Development, Computer or Electrical Engineering or a similar quantitative field.
  • Academic excellence at all stages through school and university education.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills with a “can‑do” approach and an unusual passion for innovation.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and data pipelines.
  • Nice to have: experience with analytical tools/applications such as:
    • Scientific computing: Python, SQL, PySpark
    • Data visualization: Power BI
    • Basic concepts of big data ecosystem: Spark, SQL Databricks, Git.
    • Basic concepts of Microsoft Azure Platform and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Availability for a minimum 6 months of internship.
