Position Purpose

The incumbent is responsible for the management of all sources of consumer sales data, shipments data, ongoing trackers and other relevant data. This role involves providing forecasts for category development as well as ensuring the integrity of existing data sources while actively exploring additional and alternative sources to enhance our capability in category estimation and forecasting. The person will support ExCom during ASP development and throughout the planning cycle in the provision of Market size reporting and forecasting for ExCom, the region and HQ functions.

Responsibilities

Leverage a diverse array of sources, develop and provide Total Market estimations and forecasts for Combustible and Reduce Risk Products (RRP) for the Region and ExCom and deliver a holistic perspective of the Total Nicotine Universe.

Ensure the optimal accuracy of consumer sales data and the continuous maintenance of EPOS and Retail Audit databases. Cooperate cross-functionally to ensure that the categorization and segmentation of CTP and RRP SKUs align with current business requirements.

Oversee and manage the relationships with suppliers of market measurement data and related research to ensure their quality and service scope meet JTI's requirements. Manage the budget within Strategic Insights relating to market measurement data and related research, ensuring adherence to various regulations and policies.

Collaborate with the Strategic Insights Director to create and present key performance reports and trackers.

Provide support to the Strategic Insights Director, engaging in agile methodologies to carry out responsibilities including reporting, creation of Power BI dashboards, and executing ad hoc projects as requested by your manager.

Requirements

University degree in Business Economics, Business Administration or similar.

Solid and relevant commercial analytical and / or statistical experience in a comparable role within FMCG is required with a profound expertise within Marketing and / or Sales. Experience in account / agency management is strongly preferred.

Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, along with proficiency in database management and experience with forecast modeling software.

Strong scenario analysis, trade research and deriving business insights abilities.

Computer skills : MS Office, PowerBI, SQL or any Database Administration.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.
