Position

The current role is available at both the Milan and Reggio Emilia office. As a member of the Group Data Officer unit, the person will be in charge of:

  • Organize, manage, implement and maintain the internal Data Governance program to ensure best practice and regulatory frameworks are followed;
  • Align the Data Governance program to the enterprise strategy, both business and ICT, and ensure that data governance practices are embedded throughout company processes;
  • Develop, update and maintain standards, policies and procedures to support the ongoing implementation of the Data Governance program;
  • Lead and organize the Data Governance Committee;
  • Supervise ongoing activities of data quality;
  • Support the organization of meetings, coordinate project activity and report to Supervisor;

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or STEM;
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements related to Data Governance topics;
  • Extensive experience in a Data Governance role leading a data governance program;
  • Thorough understanding of BCBS 239, Bankit 285, and Guidelines on Rdarr;
  • Specialist knowledge of Data Governance principles and practices (Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Data Lineage, Data Quality);
  • Ability to read, write and speak English (B2 or better);
  • Ability to work with cross‑organizational and cross‑functional teams;
  • Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Skilled at planning, tracking plans, working across departments, gathering and organizing documentation and results;
  • Ability to communicate to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
