Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of Data Warehouse solutions. The role focuses on data modeling, ETL/ELT development, data integration, data quality, and performance optimization while collaborating with analysts to support BI and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of data warehouse and data models.
• Implementation and maintenance of ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Data integration from source systems.
• Ensuring data quality and performance optimization.
• Collaboration with analysts and supporting BI/reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer, Data Warehouse Developer, ETL Developer, or similar role.
• Strong experience in data warehouse design and development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and T-SQL.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Experience with data integration from multiple source systems.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehouse architectures.
• Experience ensuring data quality and performance optimization.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts and support BI/reporting initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Italian language skills are required.
• Based in Italy, preferably in the Bologna area, or willing to travel to Bologna occasionally.
