Job Description

DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks.
• Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau, and various databases).
• Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes, and workflows for internal use and compliance.

Requirements

• Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep.
• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts, proficiency in programming (especially Python, Scala).
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Nice to have: Databricks certification

Work Location

Rome (RM) with smart working possibility.
