Dc&cloud - Sr. Network Specialist

At Nestlé, our Data Center and cloud environments are expanding rapidly, enabling us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, and to adapt based on business needs across on-premises data centers, private, and public clouds.

We are seeking an experienced Network Senior Specialist with expertise in strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects across diverse environments.

Under the supervision of the primary Product Owner and Product Group Manager, the Senior Network Specialist is responsible for the sustainment, deployment, and lifecycle management of products. They ensure effective and efficient infrastructure support for the aligned products and oversee operational service management processes to meet quality, efficiency, productivity, and agility goals.

The role involves significant contribution to establishing Data Center Network standards, guidelines, run-books, and compliance requirements.

You will collaborate globally with the Nestlé IT community and stakeholders to implement and maintain Data Center and Cloud Network technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP, Load-balancing, Network security, Routing, and Switching).

Your responsibilities include requirements gathering, business case development, design, documentation, knowledge transfer, compliance, and updates of technical infrastructure and standards for components and solutions, including but not limited to:

• Strong skills and hands-on experience with Cloud Networking in Azure / AWS / GCP (VNET, NSG, ASG, UDR, Express Route, etc.)
• Expertise in Load Balancing / Application Delivery (F5 LTM / GTM / Enterprise Manager)
• Network monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding (Orion, Grafana, ThousandEyes, etc.)
• Routing protocols (OSPF, QoS, Static Routing, etc.)
• Experience with SDN / ACI, SDWAN
• Switching technologies (LACP, vPC, STP, VLAN, ARP, IP, etc.)
• Data Center Local Area Network products: Cisco Nexus 2000/5000/7000/9000 series
• Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP packet captures and analysis

As a Data Center & Cloud Senior Specialist - Network team, you will have an immediate impact on our operations, bringing efficiency to our IT infrastructure and contributing to our growth.

You will work with the IT community and stakeholders globally to implement and maintain Data Center and Cloud Network technologies.

You will participate in planning and design sessions, work with customers and solution architects, and act as an SME to stakeholders and team members.

You will develop and update standards, guidelines, run-books, and compliance documentation related to Data Center and Cloud Networks.

Ensure all infrastructure components meet design, performance, and capacity standards, and build relationships with external vendors to meet business needs.

Follow IT Service Management processes for all service deliverables.

Manage project activities using Azure DevOps, participate in Scrum meetings, and support agile project management.

To succeed, you should have a master's or degree in business information systems or network engineering, relevant certifications (Cisco, Azure, AWS, GCP, F5), experience in large network environments (cloud and on-premise), practical experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and strong vendor relationship skills.
