POSITION | Defence Business Development Manager

Location: Greater Vicenza Metropolitan Area - HYBRID



Profile


To support the expansion of its business within the Defence industry, the company is seeking a Defence Business Development Manager capable of combining commercial development skills with a solid technical understanding of industrial manufacturing and product qualification processes. The selected candidate will play a strategic role in developing relationships with major Defence organizations and supporting the qualification of the company’s solutions for military and aerospace applications.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with key players within the Defence industry, including OEMs, system integrators and qualified suppliers;
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities related to advanced technologies and industrial applications;
  • Promote the company's machines and manufacturing capabilities to Defence customers;
  • Support the commercial qualification of the company as an approved industrial partner within Defence programs;
  • Manage complex sales processes involving technical, operational and procurement stakeholders.


Technical & Project Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical-commercial interface between customers and internal engineering teams;
  • Support customers during product development, industrialization and qualification phases;
  • Coordinate activities related to validation and qualification of components manufactured using the company's specific technologies;
  • Understand customer technical requirements, certification constraints and production standards typical of Defence applications;
  • Support feasibility discussions, testing activities and production readiness assessments.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in business development or technical-commercial roles within the Defence sector;
  • Existing network and relationships with Defence companies;
  • Strong technical background in industrial manufacturing environments;
  • Experience managing product qualification, validation or industrial certification processes;
  • Ability to interact effectively with both engineering and procurement stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of highly regulated industrial sectors such as Defence, Aerospace or advanced manufacturing;
