Looking for a role where your analysis truly shapes business decisions? At PPG, a global leader in coatings, we are seeking a Demand Manager within the Global IBP and Demand Planning organization. In this role, you will ensure a high quality demand signal that supports customer service excellence, optimized inventory levels, and informed strategic decision‑making across the EMEA region. You will work closely with key commercial and operational stakeholders and play an active role in strengthening our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. You will operate across a significant scope inside the Industrial Coatings SBU: €170M in revenue, 4,200 SKUs and 9,000 DFUs sourced from 15 plants and shipped from 28 sites in EMEA. You will work closely with 5 key manufacturing locations and support 8 commercial segments. You will join the EMEA IS Demand Planning team, reporting directly to the EMEA IS Demand Planning Director.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the Market Sign Off (MSO) and regional Demand Reconciliation processes, key steps of the monthly demand cycle
- Shape 12–36 month forecasts and scenario planning to support growth and capacity strategies
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to build a unified demand signal
- Support new product launches, run outs, scenario planning, and risk/opportunity assessments
- Act as the Demand liaison for selected manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment between commercial demand and supply chain capabilities
- Deploy statistical forecasting methods and support the development of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
- Improve forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and elevate planning capabilities
- Support IBP cycles and business planning reviews
- Identify opportunities for optimization (SKU rationalization, supply flow, localization, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or another analytical discipline
- 5–10 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or analytics within Supply Chain, including at least 3 years in a dedicated demand planning role
- APICS/ASCM certification preferred (or willingness to pursue certification)
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency with forecasting tools and ERP systems: FOCUS, Power BI, SAP APO/IBP
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional influencing skills, including engagement with senior leadership
- Fluent English; a second language is a plus

- Proactive, autonomous, and results oriented
- Comfortable working in a complex and international environment
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
