Offer Description
The research activity focuses on the development of forensic techniques for the analysis of multimedia content, including images, audio and video, with particular emphasis on the detection of synthetic content and manipulations generated by artificial intelligence models. The objective is to define robust and reproducible methodologies capable of distinguishing genuine content from manipulated content by identifying relevant traces and patterns revealing its origin, with attention to generalisation towards unseen generators and to robustness under real-world operating conditions. Alongside the innovative research, the initiative incorporates a strong systems and engineering component, essential for managing large volumes of data, structuring modular and scalable software architectures, enabling collaborative code development and integrating the developed detectors into deployment platforms, all in support of large-scale analysis and operational applications.
