Device Engineer - Internship • Rome, Italy

Your Role

• Drive actions to improve the quality and reliability of technologies in the 300mm fab located in Agrate, aligned with customer requirements, programs, and the business roadmap.
• Provide feedback and set directions to increase manufacturing efficiency.
• Support projects related to yield enhancement and cost‑reduction programs to keep the company competitive in the semiconductor market.
• Share group know‑how and best practices across organizations and sites, leveraging Lean principles based on simplification and standardization.
• Increase product yield through process trials.
• Improve fab capability via tool qualification.
• Guarantee cycle‑time targets.
• Plan and follow up on tasks, clearly identifying ownership, priorities, and timelines according to production and development needs.
• Activate analytical investigations of root causes and yield detractors for all products on the production technology platforms.

Requested Degree

Physics or Engineering degrees in materials and nanotechnologies, chemical, physics, or energy.

Your Skills & Experiences

• Good approach to programming (scripting and / or other programming languages).
• Fluency in English.
