Job Description
Dolce&Gabbana Beauty offers an exceptional career opportunity as Director Travel Retail Europe & Africa.
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the Travel Retail strategy across Europe & Africa, accelerating regional business development, strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring excellence in execution across the Region and will report directly to the Europe & Africa Managing Director
Mission
Shape and lead the long-term vision of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty's Travel Retail business across Europe & Africa, driving sustainable expansion, strengthening the brand's positioning across the region and establishing Travel Retail as a strategic growth engine for the organization.
Act as a key architect of the regional growth agenda, fostering a high-performance culture, cultivating strategic partnerships and ensuring alignment between corporate ambitions, brand priorities and market opportunities.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and champion the strategic direction of the Travel Retail business across Europe & Africa, translating corporate objectives into a clear regional growth agenda.
- Anticipate market shifts, consumer trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities, mitigate risks and strengthen competitive advantage.
- Drive the evolution of the regional business model, ensuring long-term scalability, relevance and organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to internal leadership teams, influencing key decisions that support sustainable growth and value creation.
Business Expansion & Market Development
- Lead the identification and capture of strategic growth opportunities across existing and emerging Travel Retail markets.
- Accelerate the expansion of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty's footprint through the development of new partnerships, distribution opportunities and retail concepts.
- Establish a robust regional roadmap to unlock future growth opportunities across Europe & Africa.
Strategic Partnerships & Industry Influence
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key Travel Retail operators, airport groups, distributors and industry stakeholders.
- Represent Dolce&Gabbana Beauty at the highest levels of the Travel Retail ecosystem, enhancing the company's visibility, credibility and influence across the region.
- Lead complex partnership negotiations and long-term strategic discussions, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and brand equity standards.
- Position the organization as a preferred partner through the creation of high-value, mutually beneficial business relationships.
Organizational Leadership
- Lead, inspire and develop a diverse, multicultural organization across Europe & Africa, fostering an environment of excellence, accountability and continuous development.
- Build organizational capabilities to support future growth, ensuring the appropriate structures, talent and succession plans are in place.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation and empowerment while driving high levels of engagement and performance.
- Develop future leaders and strengthen talent pipelines across the organization.
Commercial Excellence & Governance
- Define regional priorities, performance frameworks and resource allocation strategies to maximize long-term business opportunities.
- Drive rigorous business planning processes and strategic performance reviews to ensure alignment with regional objectives.
- Foster a data-driven decision-making culture, leveraging insights to enhance agility, effectiveness and execution.
- Ensure strong governance and operational discipline across all regional activities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Orchestrate close collaboration across Commercial, Marketing, Retail Excellence, Education, Supply Chain and Finance functions to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities.
- Align regional initiatives with global brand ambitions while maintaining sensitivity to local market dynamics.
- Lead transformational projects and organizational initiatives designed to strengthen competitiveness and accelerate business performance.
Experience & Education
- Extensive leadership experience within Travel Retail, luxury, beauty or premium consumer goods environments.
- Proven track record of leading complex, international organizations across multiple countries and cultures.
- Demonstrated success in defining and executing regional growth strategies within highly competitive global markets.
- Experience managing senior-level stakeholder relationships and negotiating strategic partnerships at executive level.
- Strong international exposure and ability to navigate diverse business environments.
- University degree required; postgraduate qualification or MBA is considered an advantage.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

Contract type: Indefinite contract (tempo indeterminato)

Remuneration:
- Remuneration will start from €85.000, depending on the experience, skills, and level of autonomy assessed during the selection process, in accordance with objective company criteria consistent with the organization, such as: (i) professional experience gained in similar roles or sectors; (ii) technical and specialist skills relevant to the role; (iii) demonstrated level of autonomy and responsibility; (iv) classification under the relevant National Collective Labour Agreement; and (v) consistency with internal pay equity parameters for comparable positions. xjncmbx
