This role, as part of Gas Technology Services (GTS) DT Repair Network & Parts Team, seeks to build, extend, and maintain software solutions to support the GTS Asset Lifecycle Management end to end.

The DT Senior Specialist Project Manager’s scope will include, but is not limited to, the ownership of the new Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) Digital Technology (DT) product within the Gas Technology Service (GTS) ecosystem. Responsibilities for this role include coordinating activities across different DT Teams to achieve the creation, continuous improvement, and efficient operation of an end‑to‑end ALM product.
As part of the Product Ownership scope, after implementation the role will maintain the product, focusing on cost optimisation, CyberSecurity, and mitigating vulnerability and obsolescence risks. Accountability also includes supporting business owners to learn the process, defining the budget and DT roadmap, and deploying solutions and continuous improvements in line with the overall DT strategy for GTS and external teams, within project budget and schedule.
The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence and work with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Define techno‑functional product roadmaps, prioritising initiatives to deliver valuable and continuously improved versions of the software.
- Lead the project execution through the entire Project Lifecycle, from requirement gathering to post‑production support.
- Develop project plans with timelines and budget, and monitor costs and progress.
- Partner through effective collaboration and communication with functional and technical teams to design processes, coordinate activities, and deliver projects on time.
- Provide artifacts for the different phases of the project, understanding requirements and documenting them in user stories, acting as the connector between functional and technical teams.
- Coordinate and assist on testing phases such as SIT and UAT.
- Engage with Process and Tools (P&T) and Digital Technology (DT) leadership stakeholders, ensuring communication of updates and expectations.
- Coordinate project teams, managing workload and conflicting priorities, and provide recommendations to keep projects on plan.
- Apply existing technologies, approaches, and methodologies to design new products, systems, or processes.
- Identify risks and mitigation actions and strategies, and establish a communication rhythm with stakeholders to ensure proper communication.
- Maintain track, through the Project Management tool (e.g., Clarity) of project financials, risks, mitigation actions, and manage changes; report status in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent professional work experience.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or have equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Have experience in project management and leading technical projects.
- Be able to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Be able to analyse and resolve problems through innovation and creative solutions.
- Be a natural communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Be a motivated self‑starter who promotes teamwork and collaboration in a cross‑functional environment.
