For our Headquarter in Milan we are looking a Digital Workplace Specialist, to support and improve workplace services across the organization, ensuring efficient device lifecycle management, standardized onboarding/offboarding processes, and high-quality end-user experience.

This role is hands-on and operational, with responsibility for workstation provisioning, automation, endpoint tooling, and Google Workspace administration, as well as coordination with vendors for workplace-related services and projects.

The Digital Workplace Specialist will report to the Core Tech & Cybersecurity Lead.


Compensation

€25.000–€35.000 gross annual salary + bonus + benefits.

Final compensation will depend on experience, skills, and internal equity criteria aligned with our compensation framework.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

Digital Workplace Operations

  • Support day-to-day digital workplace operations for Windows and macOS users.
  • Ensure consistent user experience and compliance with internal workplace standards.
  • Provide operational support for workplace tools, applications, and configurations.


Endpoint Management & Lifecycle

  • Manage Windows and macOS devices using endpoint/device management platforms (ManageEngine preferred).
  • Execute and improve device lifecycle activities: provisioning, deployment, upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning.
  • Maintain accurate device inventory and lifecycle tracking.


Automation & Process Optimization

  • Support and optimize processes for:
  • Device setup and provisioning
  • OS and software upgrades
  • User onboarding and offboarding
  • Implement automation initiatives using scripting and tooling.
  • Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for workplace processes.


Google Workspace Administration

  • Act as a key operational administrator for Google Workspace .
  • Manage user lifecycle tasks, organizational units, policies, and basic integrations.
  • Support optimization of operational processes related to Google Workspace administration.


Identity & Access Processes (Workplace Scope)

  • Understand and support identity/access workflows impacting the workplace.
  • Contribute to improvements of Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes with focus on onboarding/offboarding efficiency.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure/identity teams to implement improvements and automation opportunities.


Vendor & Project Support

  • Support vendor coordination and service follow-ups.
  • Contribute to workplace projects (rollouts, tooling changes, automation initiatives).


Operational Support

  • Support workplace-related ticketing workflows and operational procedures.


Requirements:

Must Have

  • Excellent mastery of written and spoken English
  • Experience in Digital Workplace / EUC / IT Support / Workplace operations roles.
  • Strong expertise in Google Workspace administration.
  • Experience with endpoint/device management tools (ManageEngine preferred).
  • Good knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Basic experience with automation/scripting, ideally using Google Apps Script.
  • Collaborative spirit, with appreciation of diverse perspectives
  • Bold, passionate, tenacious and curious mindset, not afraid to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo in pursuit of better solutions


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of ITSM processes and ticketing workflows.
  • Experience with ITSM tools (preference for Jira).
  • Ability to coordinate vendors and support workplace-related projects.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Experience in writing procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Certifications: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation - Agile / Project Management certifications
  • Experience in organizations aligned with ISO 20000 and/or ISO 27001 standards.
  • Exposure to AWS environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or international organizations.
