Direct Sales & Wine Tasting

This position is responsible for providing the best possible experience to all of our Tasting Room guests by developing relationships that promote sales and brand loyalty. This position reports to the Sales & Marketing Director with key interactions with members of every department.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional guest service experience while multi-tasking in a high-volume environment
- Maintain winery image to reinforce standards of the brand
- Pour and explain the taste of wines in order to sell customers on the wine clubs and wine sales
- Educate guests about the Bibi Graetz history and wines
- Accurate use of the registers
- Participate in various sales challenges to meet / exceed daily and / or monthly sales goals
- Restock wine, supplies and merchandise from the stock room into the Tasting Room
- Maintain the aesthetics of the winery
- Follow all policies and procedures as they related to safety and general winery operations
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Qualifications
- 1 year of winery experience preferred
- General first-hand knowledge of wine and wine-related topics
- Sales experience preferred : ability to present product, up sell & cross sell
- Passion for wine in your day-to-day life
- Must be a positive team player
- Professional appearance
- English professional Knowledge
- Other languages will be considered a plus
