Director of Controls Line

Carlo Gavazzi, international group active in designing, manufacturing and marketing electronic equipment, is searching for a Director of Controls Line based in Belluno.

The Business Line Controls operations takes place mainly in Belluno (120 employees). Some products lines are located in China as well.

Main Responsibilities :

• Leading the business in an area including Sourcing Operations, R&D, Product Management, Product Sales Support and a strong interface with the Sales Organization a well as Customers.
• Ensuring efficiency to business operations
• Developing business management goals and objectives that support growth
• Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to the attainment of goals
• Ensuring that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities
• Expected profile :
• Requirements :
• Master’s degree in Engineering; an MBA will be a plus
• Deep knowledge of the Automation Components Business (knowledge of products, customers and market)
• Familiarity with factory sourcing operations
• Strong experience in Research & Development and Product Management as well
• Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
• Drive change in the business to improve the business results
• Able to organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

Residence in the Belluno area and availability to travel (to China in particular) are required.
